Q. In a nutshell, what is Circular Hydration Serum? Circular Hydration Serum is a new way to hydrate your skin and achieve healthy radiant skin. Many of us are aware of the benefits of using a Hyaluronic Acid serum, however, due to skin’s hydration cycle, moisture is constantly lost through the skin’s surface layers to the atmosphere. The hydration that we apply to plump and smooth our skin is often being lost via evaporation. Circular Hydration Serum works differently to your typical hydrating serum by not only delivering hydration but by locking it in and stimulating hydration from within.
Q. Hydrating serums address dehydration, does this condition affect all skins? Yes! As a professional skin therapist, I vary rarely see a skin without some degree of dehydration. It affects all skin types and ages, even oily skins. One of the hallmarks of dehydrated skin is a tight, dry feeling – particularly after cleansing. Dehydrated skin will often also present as visible flakiness with fine, crepey lines. Oiliness can also be a sign of dehydration: when skin lacks adequate water, it may over-produce sebum (oil) in an attempt to compensate for the lack of hydration. This presents as oiliness and possible congestion along with a dry or flaky-looking appearance.
